Aims and scope
Standards in Genomic Sciences is an open access journal for rapid dissemination of concise
genome and metagenome reports, detailed standard operating procedures, meeting reports,
reviews and commentaries, data policies, white papers and other gray literature that is relevant
but currently absent from the scholarly literature.
Society information
The Genomic Standards Consortium (GSC) is an open-membership working body formed in
September 2005. The goal of this international community is to promote mechanisms that
standardize the description of genomes and the exchange and integration of genomic data.
