SURVEY Scholarship Non-Fiction Group Reading Project
Grading Criteria and score sheet for Presentations
Group Members______________
____________________________
Your group’s presentation will be worth 30 points. Work together to make sure your presentation is the
best that it can be. This is not an individual assignment; you may need to coach members of the group
who need extra help. Use the score sheet to plan your presentation, then give it to your teacher when it is
your turn to present.
Your presentation will be scored according to the following criteria:
Content—big ideas of the topic are
explained clearly and specifically,
referring to the articles but not as an
article report. The topic is presented
with strong audience awareness.
(10 points)
Delivery—all group members maintain
professional speaking attributes at all
times during the discussion: posture,
eye contact, volume, diction and
enthusiasm for the topic.
(10 points)
Discussion—discussion questions are
clear and interesting; facilitators try to
include many students in the discussion
and add their own thoughts if class
needs help getting started.
(10 points)
