China WORKING AND RESEARCHING EXPERIENCES 2001.9-present Conducted research on “Natural antioxidants delay the replicative senescence of human diploid fibroblast (2BS)”. More than thirty kinds of natural antioxidants , which were extracted from foods or Chinese herbs, were studied on their toxic dose for 2BS cells, their potentials of promoting proliferation & growth of cells, and their effects on the life span and senescent phenotype of the cells. HDTIC-1 and HDTIC-2, two compounds from Astragali Radix, were found to meet the initial conditions of screening. The two compounds were continually testified by cell cycle analysis, AGEs, comet assay and the analysis of telomere length. I also observed the effects of the two compounds on the expression of some senescence-associated genes (p16INK4a, p21waf1/cip1/sdi1),etc. 1996.7-2001.9 1987.7-1993.9 1993.9-1996.7 Working and teaching in the “ Medical Test Dept., The First Teaching Hospital of Henan Medical University” as an advanced technician & associate prof. As the Editor-in-chief, I compiled the book “Clinical Guide to Clinical Chemistry Test” (ISBN7-81048-112-6/R, Henan Med. Univ. Pre. Co., 1996.9). As the major investigator, I finished the researching program “Study on the antioxidative enzymes in the erythrocytes and lymphocytes of the workers exposed to cadium” (financially supported by the Science Fund of Henan Province of China). Conducted research on “The study of the biomarkers for esophageal cancer & other diseases”. I found that the activities of Hexokinase and its isoenzyme Ⅲ increased in the erythrocytes of the esophageal cancer patients. etc. EXPERIMENTAL SKILLS 1.
