Use materials from the library and from the internet to find information about your group’s topic. Your presentation must include at least five sources (with works cited page).
Your group will be creating a ten minute mini-lesson on your topic which must include:
A definition and full explanation of the topic including key people involved.
A Power Point presentation depicting what you understand about the topic. Each group member must create slides for his or her subtopic with appropriate text and images.
Multiple-choice questions which will be used during the class presentation (PowerPoint and Handout). Each group member must create one question. All questions should go at the end of the presentation before the
Works Cited slide. Put each question on a separate slide and the answer on the following slide.

Be sure that:
each member of the group contributes during the preparation of your lesson
each member of the group contributes during the delivery of your lesson
correct information has been provided to your classmates

Background and text complement each other; easy to read, consistent throughout the presentation.
Spell check used & Correct Grammar
Connections (5 points):
Provides a valid and thoughtful connection between research topic and novel.
Questions (5 points):
Questions are thoughtful and reflect the important aspects that you believe students should know about topic.
Works Cited (5 points):
A completed and accurate bibliography is included at the conclusion of the presentation.
Total: 50 points
*Each group member must select a sub-topic. Any students who do not provide their research for their assigned subtopic will be removed from the group and receive a 0/50 on the project.
