by professional organizations, state regulatory agencies, and accreditation/licensing authorities.
 Spearheaded the successful effort to obtain Training Center status from American Heart
Association, only commercial company to ever be rated in all three instructional disciplines

 Personally guided the company through its first accreditation by the Texas Medical Association

Operations Manager
 Elevated company from a Basic Life Support capability to a state-of-the-art Mobile Intensive
Care Unit available 24 hours per day, in less than 1 year. Increased staff, vehicles, and equipment
by 150% and directed the successful buyout of a medical billing company for in-house capability.
 Represented the company with local, state, and federal agencies, groups, and individuals
regarding all aspects of pre-hospital medical transportation to be provided. Presented business
briefs to interested clients with several successful sole-service provider agreements awarded.
United States Air Force, Maxwell AFB, AL  1998 – 2000
Medical Group Manager
 Advised the CEO on all matters affecting utilization/management of 200 paraprofessional
medical staff in 11 different specialties. Personally requested by the CEO, as the subject matter
expert, to review and provide recommendations on all staff performance reports/evaluations.
 Key project manager for the relocation of bedded medical facility to a new ambulatory surgical
center. Project was completed ahead of timeline and with zero loss of patient care. First surgery
performed in new facility accomplished within 24 hours of move.
United States Air Force, Lackland AFB, TX  1997 – 1998
Surgical Directorate Manager
 Established all work methods/standards and interpreted policies/regulations pertaining to the
reorganization of 18 Departments involving over 600 surgical services personnel. New
directorate operated 14 surgical suites and treated approximately 200,000 outpatients annually.
United States Air Force, Randolph AFB, TX  1994 - 1997
Medical Operations Manager
 Recognized as Manager of the Year (1996) for outstanding management of six clinics, a medical
records section, central appointments desk, and an ambulance service; responsible for 96,000
outpatient visits annually and an annual budget in excess of $1.5 million.
