The salary range for Level 6 is $61,892 - $65,137 gross pa (pro rata) plus salary packaging benefits and superannuation.

COUNSELLING
Provides counselling to children and young people and their parents/carers.
Maintains and manages a case load in line with programme targets.
Maintains professional documentation and administrative systems according to
agency requirements.

Qualifications
Degree in Counselling,Social Work, Psychology or related discipline.
Experience
Counselling experience in working with children and families in a therapeutic setting, preferably in respect to child sexual abuse and or trauma.
Group work experience with children and/or adults.
Experience in working in teams.
Skills
Skills in conflict resolution.
Skills in written, oral and interpersonal communication.
Skills in engaging clients from aboriginal and other diverse cultural backgrounds.
Basic computer skills (e.g. email, Word and Excel)
Knowledge
Theoretical knowledge of current child and family counselling and group work literature/models.
Knowledge of current theory, practice and issues related to child sexual abuse.
