Be prepared to provide them with chemical composition, quantity, hazardous properties, etc. – Submit MSDS with materials – Do NOT re-use boxes with UN numbers on the box – Shipping & Receiving will determine whether Clarkson can ship the item Plan accordingly, as it will take a few days to two weeks to prepare and properly document the package. Hazardous materials, for the purpose of transportation, are those in one or more one of the following groups: Explosive materials Gases Flammable liquids Combustible liquids Flammable or & water-reactive solids Oxidizers Poisonous materials Infectious materials Radioactive materials Corrosive materials Miscellaneous hazardous materials (including dry ice)
