Atopy & Flea Allergic Dermatitis (FAD)
Indications: For the prevention of flea multiplication by sterilising the eggs
Precautions: If fleas are already present at the time of first treatment, or in the case of fleeting contamination during
the treatment, adult fleas must be eliminated using appropriate topical insecticidal medicines (such as Effipro)
Overdose: No undesirable effect was shown when this food was administered at 10 times the recommended dose
Dermatology Dog is a complete veterinary prescription-only medicated feed with added pyriproxyfen
Pyriproxyfen is an insect growth regulator; it prevents the development of flea eggs & larvae to stop the emergence of
new adult fleas. Activity takes place within an hour following the dog’s first meal
The first dose should be administered immediately before the period when the first flea infestation is expected.
Treatment should continue until the usual infestation period ends & may be extended beyond the usual period to
prevent any risk of subsequent reinfestations. If there is a temporary pause in administration (2 days maximum) the
dog remains protected. Make sure that clean & fresh drinking water is available at all times. Suitable for long-term
feeding.
If there are several dogs in the same home environment, the same treatment should be administered to all.
