It focuses on delivering advanced safety information and developing critical thinking skills. The curriculum is very interactive. Both monoplace and multiplace issues are addressed. OBJECTIVE Upon completion of the course participants should understand the tools necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of a hyperbaric safety director. WHO SHOULD ATTEND Hyperbaric technologists, respiratory therapists, nurses, physicians, and department managers who desire specific training to fulfill the requirements of hyperbaric safety director (as defined by NFPA 99). Class limited to first 48 persons who register. PREREQUISITES Participants should have completed an introductory course in hyperbaric medicine. TUITION The tuition of $495.00 includes all lectures, practical exercises, and course materials. Fees can be paid by cash, check, or credit card and should be received prior to course date. Tuition includes a $50 non-refundable administrative fee. CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT September 19-22 The UHMS designates this educational activity for a maximum of 28 category 1 credits toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the activity.
