We will develop the tools and techniques that will enable you to analyze and solve problems related to a variety of physical systems and situations. By the end of the class you will have a solid grounding in the important ideas of physics, and will be ready to continue studying it at whatever level you would like. You will learn to think scientifically, and learn how scientists solve complex problems. Study Materials: Required Texts: “Physics”, by Tippens, 7th Edition. No credit will be given to answers without reasoning Academic Dishonesty: Although students are encouraged to work together, cheating as defined in District Academic Dishonesty Policy: 9803.28 will be punished according to LACCD Academic Dishonesty Policy.
