reproduction and involves photographer’s costs. All new photography is in colour, however, black and
white prints can be produced if required.

The quality of production of this photograph is not considered high enough for reproduction; it is for
private study only. However, requests considered to be of interest for future reproduction purposes
may be photographed to a higher standard and charged at the reduced rate.

1. Copyright in the reproduction remains at all times in the ownership of The Maidstone
Borough Council.
2. The publication shall include an acknowledgement to ‘Maidstone Museum & Bentlif
Art Gallery’ and the objects accession number.
3. The material shall not be used for any purpose other than that specified above.
4. ‘License for reproduction rights’ means the right to copy the photograph in any
material form, but does not include derogatory treatment of the photograph (as
‘derogatory treatment’ is defined in the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988,
section 80), which is forbidden and may cause this license to be withdrawn.
