Immersion Class Please write down, in Chinese, the class that you were attached to during the immersion
period and the name of your buddy:
初二,三班。 张柯凡
In terms of the lessons, local teachers, students, duration etc, what are your feelings
towards the immersion classes? Were you able to make any friends / contacts, etc.
Suggest ways to improve.
Classes were very fun, but at times could become quite boring. We were treated as
spectators, which was good, since we weren’t expected to participate but we could if we
wanted to. I made a few friends and we had a good time with the jokes told by the hosts.
Local Lessons conducted by 西安交大附中 teachers –
In terms of the local teachers, curriculum covered. Comment on the lessons conducted by
the local teachers and suggest any area that you would like the local teachers to cover.
History lessons were very interesting but they should put more videos into their
presentations.
Indicate at least one or two subjects that you enjoyed most, and state the reasons
Geography, since we learnt many things about the places we visited from the teachers
who could give their own opinions.
Fieldtrips –
Please comment on the fieldtrips that have been organized. How have you benefited?
Identify one or two places that you have enjoyed.
碑林 taught me how ancient people conveyed their ideas which have existed up till today.
Comment on the ways to improve in this area (field trips). If you have other places in mind
for fieldtrips, please suggest.
We should be given more time to do our own visiting.
Meals – Comment on the food served in the canteen (breakfast / lunch / dinner). Does the
food suit your taste?
1) In School: Food is edible but takes some getting used to
