I. Student Enrollment: Estimated 600 students for 2014-2015 school year
II. 2013-2014 Preliminary School Grades
III. Highlights 2013-2014

Increased proficiency in 6th grade reading from 50%-53%

Increased proficiency in 6th grade math from 18%-47%

Solid 54% proficiency in 7th grade reading for first time grade level

Solid 53% proficiency in 7th grade math, exceeded district average

Highest proficiency in 8th grade reading with 69%, exceeded district and state averages

Exceeded district and state averages in EOC Algebra I with 71% proficiency

Exceeded district and state averages in EOC US History with 78% proficiency and among one
of the top performing schools in the Academica network

Very successful passing rate in AP Spanish language- 98%, AP Spanish Literature- 86%, AP US
History- 36%

Newsweek Magazine- We are pleased to inform you that your school has been ranked on The
Daily Beast’s 2014 list of top high schools in the U.S. Moreover, we looked at school success in
consideration of high free/reduced lunch levels and your school has ranked among the most
transformative schools in the country.
