Hadarom region, Beer Sheva district, 34.57 longitude, 31.56 latitude. The outbreak occurred in a free grazing herd. The herd was vaccinated with sheep pox vaccine about six months before the outbreak. Typical clinical signs as lumpy skin have been observed in the affected animals. There is a milk herd nearby which was not affected in July but symptoms appeared in the middle of August. Beef herd (No new cases in September): Susceptible – 171. Cases – 94. Deaths – 0.
