U.S. History II - Final Project 2012
Mrs. Ragone
So far this year, we have covered the time periods of the 1920’s through the 1960’s.
Together we have made great discoveries and have learned a vast amount of valuable
information. Throughout this year we have used video as a tool to aide us in our
understanding of historical events. Video is an important learning tool.
Your task: For your final project, you will create a video on a certain time period in
history. This creation may be based on a topic already covered in class or on a certain
time period or topic that interests you within the scope of the USII curriculum. Below are
some You Tube clips that will help serve as examples of what we expect for this project.
You are responsible to research a U.S. History II topic and create a video montage for the
class to view. You will use iMovie to create the video. The rubric for this assignment is
listed below.

worth 10 points, amounting to a total of 120 points. As you preview your presentation, be sure to
include all of the elements listed below in order to do as well as possible on this project.
Remember…This project is in lieu of a Final Exam…this means that this is your final exam grade!
Although class time will be given to complete this project, work must be done at home!
Finally….only one (1) person may choose a topic, therefore once one person (from Ragone’s

allows for variation. Choose quickly and choose wisely. First come first served, requests will be
taken via e-mail only, ensuring a fair distribution. Please e-mail your first, second and third choice.
I will announce your topic.
Please see me if you need help or have any questions. Good Luck! … and Have Fun!
