ABILITIES
Project Design
Constructed and implemented an independent paleobotanical research project in MT (manuscript in-progress).
Developed low-pressure gas exchange system and adapted cryogenic cooler to fit research needs.
Modified existing LabView component-control program to align with changes in experimental design.
Data Collection and Management
Digitized field notes and created figures, tables, and maps for use in publication.
Designed and filled database of paleo-climate proxies (from literature) for use in creation of computer model.
Converted raw data from electrical resonance experiments into useable and navigable tables and graphs.
Chemical and Mechanical Lab Work
Experience mastering, maintaining, and instructing in use of a wide variety of technical equipment.
Managed limited lab space with high user volume, enabling concurrent projects to move forward efficiently.
Worked with supplier network to cut operational costs and find alternatives to most dangerous compounds.
