Budget control The CMM2 / CNM2 will: Manage patient care to ensure the highest professional standards using an evidence based, care planning approach Liaise with other neo natal units within the region with regard patient care Provide a high level of professional and clinical leadership Be responsible for the co-ordination, assessment, planning, delivery and review of service user care by all staff in designated areas Provide safe, comprehensive nursing care to service users within the guidelines laid out by An Bord Altranais Practice nursing according to: o Professional Clinical This post is pensionable. A panel will be formed from this recruitment campaign and future permanent or specified purpose vacancies will be filled from this panel. The tenure of these posts will be indicated at ‘expression of interest’ stage. Appointment as an employee of the Health Service Executive is governed by the Health Act 2004 and the Public Service Management (Recruitment and Appointment) Act 2004. The Salary scale for the post is: €47,089 - €47,886 - €48,559 €49,659 - €50,874 - €52,067 - €53,260 - €54,604 - €55,852 (pro rata) The post of Clinical Nurse/Midwife Manager 2 will involve rostering over a 5 day week (Monday – Friday).
