Black Forest Highlights 2015
The Black Forest is a place of rest and recreation and at the same time is a charming
destination for holidaymakers and excursionists who are looking to experience culture,
indulgence, adventure, wellness and the healthy life. The events calendar for 2015

Wine experts will know that more than 80% of Baden Württemberg’s famous grapes
grow on the western edge of the Black Forest. The Baden-Württemberg Wine Trail winds
its way through the vineyards for 200 kilometres along the western fringes of the
uplands, around the Kaiserstuhl and Tuniberg in the Upper Rhine valley. After the
successful launch of the wine trail for the 60th anniversary the previous year, more than
130 events and promotions are planned for May 2015. Under the heading “MaiWein
2015”, the calendar has delightful wine tastings, cellar tours, winemakers get-togethers,
wine festivals and wine treks. The program and further information on the BadenWürttemberg wine country can be found at: Tel. 0761 89646-93 and www.badischeweinstrasse.de

signposted walking paths. On the high routes the walking season starts later than in the
valleys and on the Kaiserstuhl. So, on the 17th of May, “Black Forest Walking Spots”
kicks off the walking season with guided tours, meet-ups and family festivals. There is a
varied program on offer with music, entertainment, children’s events, tours and
exhibitions. More information can be found at: Tel. 0761 89646-93 and
