Please note this is not a drop in and children may not attend on an ad-hoc basis. The Thursday lunchtime club is not taking place during the summer term. Mrs Harrison REAL RUNNERS Real Runners wish to apologise for not being here on Wednesday afternoon to run the session. They will be making up the time at the end of this term with an extra session on Wednesday 1st July. Mrs Brewin SPANISH CLUB Spanish Club has unexpectedly stopped from yesterday and the Thursday afternoon sessions will no longer be happening. The Spanish teacher is very sorry. There is a possibility that the class may start again in September but we won’t know about that until later in the year. Mrs Brewin SCHOOL JUMPERS Now that the weather is a bit warmer, children are taking off their jumpers at breaktimes and lunchtimes but they are then leaving them outside on the field. Please can we remind parents that the children need to remember to collect them from the field when they come inside. In addition, please can you name your children’s school uniform as this makes it easier for items to be returned to their rightful owner. We will be putting all items found in the Lost Property Box which is situated outside the school office if any find their way to the office. Please can you ask your children to ensure they know where they put their jumpers during the day and retrieve them where necessary. Thank you. FOOTNOTE FROM MRS SMITH Clubs It is essential that all pupils wishing to attend after school clubs are registered with parental permission before they attend. Without permission, pupils will not be insured for attendance and will not be permitted to attend. Quiz Club I am pleased to report that our Quiz Team who were runners up in the local heats have made it through to the Semi Finals of the Inter School Quiz Championship 2014/15. This will take place between 10.00am and 11.00am on Tuesday 16th June at Wallace Fields Junior School in Epsom. Congratulations to Paul Adams, Lily Costa-Ferreira, Finn Peacock and Tom Cahill for their excellent achievement in getting through to the Semi Finals. Year 3 Trip On Thursday 7th May, Year 3 will be walking to Teddington Lock to take part in the River Thames Boat Project. If you haven’t already returned your permission slip, please ensure you do so early next week. Let’s pray for good weather as this class are outside all day. Photographs On Friday 8th May, the school photographer will be in school to take photographs of all classes and the school teams. Please ensure that your child is in summer uniform for the day to ensure the photographs are the best they can be. Fr Reg I have spoken to the church administrator and Fr Reg is doing as well as can be expected. He will be out of action until at least the end of June. Please keep him and his family in your prayers at this time as we pray for his speedy recovery. Have a great Bank Holiday weekend. We look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday. Mrs Smith
