What you should do to keep yourself healthy. “ Health is above wealth,’ the proverb says. When we are healthy we are strong, active and full of energy. We have to take care of our health and do the things that are useful for us. You should have nine hours sleep every night. Children who do not have enough sleep are always tired and sleepy. The human body also needs exercises. Walking, running, swimming and playing football are exercises. They keep the body strong. They help the blood to move around inside the body. This is very important, as our blood brings food to all parts of the body. If you want to keep fit you must go in for one kind of sport or another. Sport is an essential part of our daily life. Almost every day you should do the training. You need regular exercises to be strong and healthy. Take care of yourself! Keep fit! Questions: What you should do to be healthy? Which people live longer? Should society forbid smoking cigarettes? Why? Group 2. What you should eat to keep yourself healthy. What is your favorite food? Some people love pizza. Some people love ice cream. Not many would say broccoli is their favorite food. Bun you can’t eat only pizza and ice cream all the time. You also need fruits, vegetables, and other kinds of foods. Water is also very important for your body. You need all kinds of foods to keep your body strong and healthy. Nutritionists (scientists who study food and nutrition) say you should eat grains, such as bread, pasta, and cereal. You should eat eggs, milk, cheese, and other dairy products. You should eat meat, fish, beans, or tofu (bean curd). They also say you need to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables every day. But you should not eat too many foods with lot of fats or sugar. You need to eat some of each of these different kinds of foods to get chemicals called nutrients. Carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, minerals, and water are nutrients.
