experiencing homelessness at the beginning of the school year and upon

district was required to provide a detailed description of how your district would evaluate the impact of the
program, including a definition of student success, how academic achievement would be measured, the process
for gathering data, and a summation of the overall impact of the program. Please review your district’s original
McKinney-Vento grant proposal to determine how your district planned to evaluate the success of the
McKinney-Vento grant program. Describe outcomes of your district’s evaluation, to date. What are the results

McKinney-Vento funds are awarded to Local Education Agencies (LEAs) through a competitive grant process.
Your district/consortia received an award based upon the content of the proposal submitted during the 2013–16
grant application cycle. Explain any changes/deviations/adjustments made to the LEA’s original proposal
(fiscal and/or programmatic) that significantly changed the way grant dollars were spent in 2014–15, and/or the
outcome of the proposed program (if applicable).
