JOB PURPOSE To be responsible for generating income for Rowcroft from corporate clients in the community. To maintain and develop successful partnerships with corporate supporters. To develop and manage Corporate Fundraising for Rowcroft Hospice, delivering business plans and financial targets as agreed with the Associate Director of Fundraising. 3. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Plan and deliver a Corporate Fundraising strategy in order to significantly grow corporate income and be the charity of choice for medium and large corporates in South Devon. 2. Co-ordinate all relationships with existing corporate supporters, working in conjunction with Retail, Community Fundraising and Events teams on existing partnerships when appropriate. 3. Maximise income generated from corporate relationships through effective partnership working, inspiring our corporate partners’ staff, customers and senior management alike To attend internal and external events to network and acquire initial contacts with the aim of developing these into long term relationships. Use research to identify, prioritise and secure new potential corporate partnerships. This will involve preparing and delivering quality presentations and pitches. Develop partnership plans for corporate partners to support their fundraising and to ensure income is maximised. To advise on legislative requirements and manage risk for externally operated events. Work with relevant teams such as IT, Transport and Events to gain ‘in kind’ support for in budget items Work with the Events Manager to gain sponsorship for Rowcroft fundraising events and to promote these events to corporate supporters and employees Work with the Events Manager to plan and deliver corporate events aimed at engaging corporate support and achieving income targets Work with the Communications team to ensure corporate supporters are recognised appropriately through the use of press releases and social media To work with the Communications team on corporate communications, including a monthly corporate e-newsletter , online information and social media Regularly update and maintain Donorflex with contact activity and corporate information to ensure complete and accurate records are always readily available and ensure excellent customer care. Represent Rowcroft at corporate events of all levels, delivering talks and attending cheque collections and photo opportunities. Keep informed of sector-wide developments and changes in corporate giving, attending external training and conferences where appropriate. To ensure all corporate fundraising activity is to the highest standard to safeguard Rowcroft’s organisational reputation. All activity should comply with relevant legislation, policies and practices (i.e. Health and Safety, Licensing laws, Data Protection Act). Manage partnerships with companies, drawing up contracts where appropriate and safeguarding Rowcroft’s brand. To ensure that all data relating to corporate fundraising is accurate and up to date and supporters are given the best possible supporter care and consistency. In addition, adhere to Data Protection legislation and Rowcroft policy and procedures relating to supporters. To work with the AD F&SD and other members of the fundraising team to deliver joint fundraising initiatives To attend Fundraising events as and when required To undertake all other reasonable duties as required by the organisation. 6.
