Hello RSO’s,
In this packet you will find the information on the 2006 Regents Cup GullGating
Championship. We take GullGating seriously around here and we hope you will too, so
read over this packet of information and get the pickup ready because the Fishing Club is
baiting anyone to challenge them on their fifth consecutive year and we have a new
system for rewarding the most spirited Seagulls.
This year there will be trophies or “Regents GullGating Champion Cup” awarded to the
top three RSO’s. Also, if you are the champion, your RSO will be added to the plaque of
champions hanging in the Office of Student Activities.
Saddle up, get your giant Grills assembled now, Get the coolers out and cleaned and
check the batteries in the megaphone.

GULLGATING POLICY
The following standards have been developed so that Salisbury University students,
faculty, staff, alumnae/alumni, and guests may enjoy their GullGating experience to the
fullest. We anticipate your cooperation in observing each of these points, which are
provided in the best interest of health and safety. Thank you very much.
1.
Individuals who interfere with the rights of other people by the use of loud,
abusive language and behavior that prevents others from enjoying GullGating and
the game will be asked to cease the behavior or leave the event.
2.
Parking at Johnny Unitas Stadium lots is limited to one (1) car per space.
3.
GullGating participants are responsible for keeping Johnny Unitas Stadium and
surrounding areas clean. Trash bins are located on every lot.
4.
Drinking is discouraged during GullGating. If you choose to drink, please do so
responsibly.
5.
Beer kegs, party balls, and open glass bottles of alcoholic beverages are
prohibited in all parking areas. For safety reasons, we ask that all beverages are
consumed from cans, plastic, paper or Styrofoam cups.
6.
Drinking games are not allowed on Stadium property.
7.
The legal drinking age in Maryland is 21. Providing alcohol to minors or
consumption of alcohol by person under the age of 21 is illegal and carries serious
penalties.
8.
Driving under the influence is illegal in the State of Maryland. State drinking and
driving laws will be enforced.
9.
Solicitation is not allowed at the Stadium. The sale of items by anyone other than
Stadium personnel is prohibited unless the Stadium staff has granted prior
approval.
BE SMART! HAVE FUN! Please be aware that individuals who violate the above rules
and regulations will be asked to leave Stadium property and/or subject to legal penalties.
Towson Tailgating Policy
The following standards have been developed so that Towson University students, faculty, staff, alumnae
and alumni, and guests may enjoy their game day experience to the fullest. We anticipate your cooperation
in observing each of these points, which are provided in the best interest of health and safety. Thank you
very much.

Tailgating is permitted 3 hours before game time and must end at game time.
Tailgating is prohibited during half time.
Tailgating is permitted for 1 ½ hours after the game.
General Admission tailgating is located in designated lots only.
One vehicle per space.
The University reserves the right to restrict vehicles due to safety reasons.
The drinking age in the State of Maryland is 21. Providing alcohol to minors or consumption by
persons under 21 is illegal and carries serious penalties.
BEER KEGS, PARTY BALLS AND OPEN CANS AND GLASS BOTTLES OF BEVERAGES
CONTAINING ALCOHOL ARE PROHIBITED in parking areas. For safety reasons, we ask that all
beverages be consumed from a plastic or paper cup.
Please refrain from drinking games. They may seem like fun but their sole purpose is to get the
players intoxicated. The end result is trouble.
Respect the rights of others. Avoid the use of loud and abusive language and behavior, which
prevents others from enjoying tailgating and the game.
Please keep the Johnny Unitas Stadium and surrounding areas clean! Trash bins are on every lot
and trash bags are available from tailgate personnel.
Due to risk of injury, ball playing or frisbee throwing will not be allowed on parking surfaces.
Tents, platforms, and stages are not permitted in the tailgate areas.
Soliciting is not permitted on the Towson University campus. The selling of any item by anyone
other than university personnel is prohibited unless the university has granted prior approval.

property and/or are subject to legal penalties.
Vehicles which leave tailgating lots will not be permitted to re-enter without re-paying.
Directions to Johnny Unitas Stadium
Take 50 west across the Bay Bridge to Exit 21 (I-97N)
Follow I-97N to 695 East towards Towson
Follow 695 to exit 25 (Charles St. South)
Drive 1 mile to the 3rd light and make a left onto Towson Town Blvd.
Follow rd for 1/8 of a mile (1st light) and make a right onto Osler Drive
Follow for 2/3 mile and make a right onto Auburn Drive
Follow signs to Johnny Unitas Stadium look for lots #20 and #21
