TEACHING ASSISTANTS FOR PROCTORING EXAMS
General Description
Teaching Assistants provide proctoring exam support to undergraduate course faculty. It is
understood the faculty is always present as well as the Teaching Assistant.
Organizational Relationships
The Teaching Assistant is supervised and evaluated by the Course Coordinator. Specific
duties of proctoring are negotiated with the Course Coordinator.
Exemplar Responsibilities



Understand protocol for proctoring exams.
Assists in proctoring tests and exams under the direction of the course coordinator
or designated faculty.
Upholds UNC-CH Honor Code in carrying out duties as proctor.
