Section 3 Prequalification Response Format Discipline H-2 Historic Architectural Surveys and Mitigation Conduct historic architectural survey, including background research, data collection, analysis and report preparation to determine if significant, National Register listed or eligible properties will be affected by proposed transportation projects. Conduct mitigation work when directed. Assist with the preparation of plans and specifications to address aesthetic requirements. All work will be in conformance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines. Staff experience should include developing historic contexts and using them appropriately in the context of compliance work. Firm: Staff Requirements Principal Investigator Architectural History 1. Any degree in architectural history, art history, historic preservation or a closely related field with coursework in American architectural history; AND 2. Two years full time experience in research, writing, or teaching in American architectural history or restoration architecture with an academic institution, historical organization or agency, or museum, or other professional institution OR substantial contribution through research and publication to the body of scholarly knowledge in the field of American architectural history; AND 3. Three years experience conducting survey and other work in compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended. Instructions: List staff that meets requirements.
