Oral Presentations
Prepare an oral presentation utilizing concepts and expressions learned in the class for
this semester. Practice and practice, and come prepared to present it to the class. This
presentation should be 30 seconds to 1 minute long, and totally in Chinese. It will be
graded on vocabulary, pronunciation and effort. This presentation is worth 50 pts.
Thursday, July 19
Extra-Credit Presentations. As a possibility for extra-credit, students can prepare an
oral report in English about any aspect of the Chinese culture: music, art, geography,
history, food, dancing, cities, tea, economy, etc. This presentation should not exceed ten
minutes per student. These presentations will be worth 10 points extra towards the final
grade for this class.
