WAHCE Guidelines for State Associate Member
The category of State Associate Membership shall be established and available to only those
members residing in a county where a county HCE organization is disbanded or does not
exist. Members are encouraged to join a neighboring county HCE organization.
State Associate Member:
1. May express opinions and concerns through the District Director or state officer.
2. Would not have an individual vote.
3. Member is encouraged to attend the Annual Conference.
4. Dues are $15.00 per year. This fee will include State dues and a subscription to
Update. These dues are subject to change as costs increase.
5. May be appointed to state committee or stand for election, if candidate fulfills or meets
qualifications. If appointed or elected, would have the same voting privileges as other
members or officers.
6. Associate member checks for dues are to be made out to WAHCE and sent to the
WAHCE Treasurer by January 30 of each year
7. The WAHCE Treasurer will keep a file of all state Associate members and added to the
membership count.
8. The WAHCE Treasurer shall inform the Update Editor of subscriptions.
