Aspire, Endeavour, Achieve Enrichment week: 7th – 11th July 2014 Dear Parent/Carer I am writing to inform you of the academy uniform expectations for the forthcoming enrichment week. For the following academy trips full academy uniform MUST be worn: The Royal Opera House The trip to the Natural History Museum through the ‘CSI Harlow’ project Year 10 students attending the Careers information workshops on Thursday 10 th July must also wear full Academy uniform. When working on the Academy site, students may wear uniform OR pay £1 to wear appropriate non-uniform. The clothing must be practical, modest and suitable for our academy environment. Therefore the following are NOT to be worn: Low cut tops Crop tops that expose the mid-riff/tummy Low-slung trousers that fall below the hip Shoes with high heels Vests/vest tops Can I also remind you that normal Academy rules on make-up and jewellery will still apply. The £1 proceeds will go to the Dolphin Children’s Ward at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow. This is a charity that has been identified by our students as being one the Mark Hall Academy should have strong links with in the future.
