REVEGETATION
1.a. Establish the basic floristic structure of the site association(s) with the main tree
and shrub species, and ground layer to the degree appropriate to the site
conditions
1.b. Establish the pioneer or dominant / main structural species of the site
association(s)
1.c. Establish the structure of site-specific habitat or amenity planting, or buffer
zone to adjacent intact vegetation or Bushcare area, with selected species
1.d. Stabilise disturbed areas, drains, batters, etc with selected species
2.
BUSHCARE
2.a. Eradicate all weeds from Bushcare areas - basic construction and
establishment contract period (12 - 15 months)
2.b. Eradicate targeted weeds from Bushcare areas - basic construction and
establishment contract period (12 - 15 months)
2.c. Eradicate all weeds from Bushcare areas - extended period (2 - 5 years
generally)
2.d. Control / substantially reduce infestation of invasive / targeted weeds from
Bushcare areas
3.
WEED CONTROL
3.a. Eradicate selected proclaimed and environmental weeds on site
3.b. Control / remove woody weeds from the site or selected areas in the vicinity
3.c. Control weed infestations which threaten revegetation or Bushcare works
areas
3.d. Control weed infestations which threaten adjacent intact or high quality
vegetation
4.
OTHER (describe)
4.a. Control rabbits in the vicinity of the Bushcare and revegetation sites in
association with landholders and the APCB

PROJECT WORKS SUMMARY
(example)
Planting : Planting of xxxxxxxxx plants of selected local species as per the schedule below in tubestock or
large cells, during xxxxxx Plants will be supplied by xxxxx using local seed/ cutting material sources. It is
not intended to water the plants after planting and watering in (if necessary) due to the high rainfall and cool
climate of the area and the generally deep sandy soils / Plants will be watered over the first (and second?)
summers to ensure adequate establishment rates. Regular effective weed control to the plantings will be
carried out to eliminate competition for moisture and nutrients.
Weed Control :
Weed control will be intensive amongst the remaining remnant vegetation in the corridor, but using low
impact bushcare techniques.
Weed control in planting areas will focus on complete control around plants and selective control of invasive
species for the balance of the area. Other common pasture species control will be carried out around plants
and in the remnant bushcare areas but not in the balance of the corridor as this is not considered sustainable
in the context of the surrounding dominance of these species in pasture areas.
TOTAL PROPOSED REMEDIATION AREA : xxxxxx ha
