A. Course Overview: This course entails the study of the environmental
implications of introduction of foreign genetic material; the application of
biotechnology in the management of several environmentally important issues, such
as pollution, remediation and conservation management.
B. Course Objectives:
To re-enforce the student understanding of the potentials and application of
biotechnology in environmental management and conservation.
