Perinatal SBIRT Health Coach
Queen of Peace Center has an opportunity for a PERINATAL SBIRT HEALTH
COACH. Queen of Peace center is a family-centered behavioral healthcare provider for
women with addiction, their children and families. The gender focused female recovery
center provides a variety of treatment options to women with co-occurring disorders and
those affected by trauma. Located in the Central West End of St. Louis, MO.
This position provides health coach services to perinatal consumers in various clinical
venues in accordance with SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention, Referral and
Treatment) requirements including screening for substance abuse, administration of
various required questionnaires, brief education and coaching, referral for specialized
treatment, consultation with the health care team, medical documentation, attending
periodic meetings for supervision, project management and training.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or other related field is
preferred. Typing and computers skills are required. Knowledge about perinatal
consumers’ needs and concerns are a plus. An ability to work independently, as well
as part of a team, is a must.
