acquisition/processing, and prospect generation. Exploration experience in various areas including
Nigeria, NW Australia, Indonesia, Gulf of Mexico, Ghana, Colombia, Gabon, Suriname, Brazil and
the Black Sea. Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams for farm-ins, farm-outs, and bid round
evaluations.

 Key contributor on new venture evaluation team responsible for rapid evaluation of prospective
acreage including prospect generation, resource/risk estimation, and assessment of potential
exploration upside.
 Lead interpreter for exploration acreage in Colombia and Romania. Responsible for integration
of sub-surface data (wells and seismic) and proposing new well locations.
Exploration Planner, Hess Corporation, 08/12 – 12/12
 Provides planning support for Middle East, Africa, and Latin American assets. Responsible for
coordinating and maintaining budget and plan information.
 Maintains drill schedule for upcoming exploration activity and maturation schedule for assets

performing basin-wide prospect and play generation. Plans and executes risk and resource
estimation for new leads, prospects, and hydrocarbon plays.
 Responsible for new venture evaluations in Colombia. Evaluates farm-in opportunities, highgrades blocks for lease sales, and makes recommendations to senior management.
 Represents Hess as technical lead at partner meetings. Influences partners regarding exploration
focus and work program from a non-operator position.
Geophysicist, Chevron, Inc. 04/03 – 04/08
 Primary interpreter on deepwater Gulf of Mexico appraisal team. Responsible for sub-surface
appraisal of Trident field (~35 MMBOE recoverable) as potential tie-back to Perdido
development. Performs structural and stratigraphic interpretation, volumetric calculations, and
reserves evaluation (working closely with reservoir engineer).
 Processing of multiple 2D and 3D seismic datasets as both a team member and project lead.
Designs and implements custom processing workflows for datasets from assorted deepwater
Chevron operations in West Africa, NW Australia, Indonesia, and Gulf of Mexico.
 3D seismic acquisition offshore Nigeria. Key member of team responsible for 3D survey from
acquisition through final migration. Delivered high quality 3D seismic volume for project
interpreters to guide drilling program under challenging time constraints.
Research Associate, University of Hawaii at Manoa, 08/01-04/03
 Managed data processing and interpretation lab, instructed graduate students in use of Landmark
imaging / interpretation software, and traveled extensively for seismic acquisition projects.
Maintained OpenWorks / Landmark application environment on network of eight workstations.

University instructor on the geology of the Hawaiian Islands.
