QUOTATION NOTICE
Sealed Quotations are invited for the following works by the Executive
Engineer(C), Civil Construction Wing, All India Radio, and Bangalore on behalf of the
President of India from approved & appropriate class of registered contractors of CPWD,
MES, P&T, Railways, Karnataka State PWD up to 3.00 P.M on 24.07.2013
Name of the work : Providing Structural Glazing to front face of entrance to EPFO,
Mysore.
1.
The Schedule of quantities and specification of work to be executed shall be obtained
from this Office up to 23-07-2013 up to 4 P.M. on written application. The rate shall be
quoted only in schedule issued.
2.
Quotations will be opened at 3.30 P.M on 24.07.2013 or in case the same is found to
be a Government holiday, the quotations will be opened on the next working day at the
same time by the Executive Engineer(C), CCW, AIR, Bangalore.
3.
The rate and amount shall be quoted in both figures and in words inclusive of all taxes
and incidental charge.
4.
Time allowed for completion of work will be ONE MONTH from the date of issue of
order.
5.
Quotations should be addressed to the Executive Engineer©, Civil Construction Wing,
All India Radio, Bangalore & on the cover “Quotation for the work of” (Name of work)
should be superscribed.
6.
The quotation received after the due date late hours is liable to be rejected summarily.
7.
On acceptance of the lowest quotations, the work order will be issued as per CPWD
regulations and hence the contractor/quotationer shall abide by the rules and
regulations of the Department as per CPWD codes.
8.
On acceptance of the quotation, the name of accredited representative of the
quotationer who could be responsible for taking instructions from the Engineer-inCharge shall be communicated to the Engineer-in-Charge.

The acceptance of a quotation will rest with the Executive Engineer©, Civil Construction
Wing, All India Radio, Bangalore who does not bind himself to accept the lowest
quotation and reserves to himself of the authority to reject any or all of the quotation
received without assigning any reason.
10.
The payment shall be made only for work done and measured nothing extra will be
payable on any account.
11.
Quotation rate shall include all local taxes, transportation charges etc to site of work and
no excise duty will be paid separately.
12.
Quotation rate will be for all materials conforming to ISI specification and bear ISI mark
wherever applicable
