PRESS RELEASE Bad Ragaz, 2nd July 2014 Therapeutic relaxation Grand Resort Bad Ragaz marks its anniversary with a new relaxation programme As Europe’s Leading Wellbeing & Medical Health Resort, the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz in the Heidiland holiday region of Eastern Switzerland has developed a brand new one- to five-day therapeutic relaxation programme. The programme promises deep relaxation – without guests even having to think about which treatments are best for them – and can be booked from CHF 495.– (approximately EUR 410.–). For further information please visit: www.resortragaz.ch/en/therapeuticrelaxation A five year anniversary Following comprehensive renovation and expansion work involving a CHF 160 million investment, the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz celebrated with a grand opening at the end of June 2009. In celebration of the five year anniversary, the five-star resort is delighted to offer its guests the launch of the new 36.5° Thermal Water Collection via a new series of treatments and offerings to mark the anniversary. The collection represents a further milestone in the integration of thermal water into the wellbeing services offered by Switzerland’s Best Wellness Hotel (SonntagsZeitung newspaper, 2014). Therapeutic relaxation is the first programme to act as a link between Europe’s Leading Wellbeing & Medical Health Resort’s outstanding medical and award-winning wellness expertise. Therapeutic relaxation Take some time to give mind, body and soul a break from the stresses of everyday life – the treatments in the new therapeutic relaxation programme offer more than just luxurious pampering and temporary, skindeep relaxation: by using therapeutic treatments, the programme offers a relaxation effect that penetrates guests’ nervous systems, calms the mind, body and soul and heals the energy field from within. In Page 1/4 developing the programme, the experienced team of therapists obtained advice from water experts and doctors from the resort’s own Medical Health Center. The individual treatments were then meticulously harmonised and optimised. The experts can therefore now offer a form of therapeutic relaxation that helps guests find their inner balance and get back in touch with their body, mind and soul. Programme details From one day of therapeutic relaxation for a little downtime to several days of deep relaxation, guests can find themselves and their inner balance and unleash new energy. The new therapeutic relaxation programme centres around a yoga session, an essential facial and the signature sequoia ceremony developed by the resort. Inspired by the resort’s mammoth trees, the treatment uses the essence of the sequoia tree to give guests stability and balance, creating the necessary conditions for pure relaxation. Regardless of how long guests choose to stay, the programme includes individual therapeutic bathing programmes in the thermal water to lower stress levels and replenish the body’s energy reserves. The resort’s own healthy gourmet cuisine Cuisine Équilibrée provides a balanced diet for a renewed sense of vitality. A one-day programme without accommodation is available for CHF 495.– (approximately EUR 410.–). The three-day programme is priced at CHF 1,270.– (approximately EUR 1,050.–) includes an aqua gym and floating session to reduce muscle tension as well as an andullation therapy session to activate the metabolism and stimulate the body’s self-healing abilities. A Thalgo Aromacéane essential oil treatment positively affects the body’s contours, boosting vitality and the feeling of relaxation. The sound waves meditation session that rounds off the treatment uses the vibrations of singing bowls to encourage a person’s instinctive trust, helping them to let go. It releases tension and blockages as the vibrations flow through the entire body and pulsate in union with mind and soul. A paraffin treatment for hands and feet not only leaves dry skin feeling soft and silky smooth but also stimulates the circulation and relaxes stiff joints. The repetition of individual treatments generates an even deeper sense of relaxation for the body, mind and soul. The five-day programme is priced at CHF 2,275.– (approximately EUR 1,870.–) also includes a cleansing ear candling treatment with a head and facial massage. Individual programme elements can be changed on request. 36.5° Thermal Water Collection Page 2/4 Therapeutic relaxation is the first programme to be launched by the resort in its new 36.5° Thermal Water Collection and is centred around the therapeutic and healing thermal water. This is not the first time that the Bad Ragaz thermal water’s healing powers and people’s needs have been dynamically brought together in the resort’s 36.5° Wellbeing & Thermal Spa. With eight sources of holistic wellbeing, the treatments combine the same promise of assistance for the body, mind and soul in Thermal water & Strength, Energy & Earthing, Rhythm & Flow, Cleanliness & Clarity, Relaxation & Balance, Inspiration & Vitality, Beauty & Care and Movement & Training. The 36.5° Thermal Water Collection now uses these sources to help guests tend to their individual needs with their minds cleared of thoughts, obligations and rules, and to simply be and enjoy some “me” time. Further programmes will also follow. – END – Overnight stays in the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz can be booked from CHF 490.– (approximately EUR 400.–) for a double room including breakfast, a welcome drink and the 36.5° wellbeing package.
