LOAN PROCESSOR JOB DESCRIPTION Title Loan Processor – Bilingual (Spanish) Reports to Branch Manager FLSA Status Non Exempt General Purpose This position is primarily responsible for the quick and efficient processing of source documents by obtaining, investigating, and validating application information. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities Meeting with customers to obtain information for loan applications and answering questions about the credit application process. Entering data into company system from source documents Maintaining the customer traffic by greeting and attending to each customer. Processing customer payments Reviewing source documents and ensuring that they are complete and accurate according to policy Perform employment verification calls on credit applications Interviewing credit applicants to establish identity and verify personal information Performing marketing calls and appointment setting to generate more loans Promoting the company’s products and services Ensure compliance with established internal controls and procedures Working with branch associates, as required, to insure the timely completion of tasks and projects Cultivating an environment where customers want to return and refer others Maintaining excellent relationships with existing dealers and customers Other duties as assigned Supervisory None Education and/or Experience High School Diploma Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers Reasoning Skills Ability to define marketing opportunities. Equipment/Computer Skills/Language To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software and Word Processing software.
