Table One Mission Statement The mission of Cosumnes River College is to provide a rich, inclusive, student-centered learning environment that challenges students to identify and achieve their maximum/unique potential, acquire habits of intellectual inquiry, attain a strong foundation of knowledge and skills, and develop a world view that is pluralistic, environmentally sensitive, and globally aware. To achieve this mission, the College provides Transfer, general and career education at the lower division level; Training and services that contribute to the continuous improvement of the workforce and the quality of life in the region; Instruction in basic skills and English as a second language; Appropriate support and instructional services to help students succeed at the community college level, to transfer to four-year colleges and universities and/or to transition to work; and life-long learning and community service courses and activities.
