DNA My Dog North American Shelter Program
Completion of this application assumes your organization has agreed to the
conditions of the DNA MY DOG North American Shelter Program.
1. The provided DNA My Dog kits will be sold for a minimum selling
price of $10.00. It is not the intention of this program to provide lower
priced tests to be given away, but rather to supply these no cost kits to
canine rescue organizations to be used for the purposes of fundraising.
2. Organizations found giving the kits away for no charge will be
removed from participation in the program.
3. All participating organizations must adhere to a basic code of canine
rescue ethics. All dogs in the care of the group are for the purposes of
adoption and/or rehabilitation. Breeders, sellers of dogs or any group
or person otherwise engaged in the practice of selling dogs for pure
profit motives do not qualify.
4. Participating groups must disclose the additional lab fee and not
misinform purchasers to believe the entire test is $10.
5. DNA My Dog makes every attempt to ensure customer satisfaction.
All refunds and re swabs are at DNA My Dog’s discretion and subject
to a restocking fee.
6. All information provided by participating groups is confidential,
however we do ask to be able to include shelters on our list, which is
public. Permission may be withheld and this will not effect
participation in the program.
7. DNA My Dog will continue to provide kits at no cost to the shelter at
DNA My Dog’s discretion. If no sales occur as a result of the provided
kits, DNA My Dog may choose to halt the program to any group until
such sales are realized.
