A version of STRIP luminaire, STRIP SITO is a wall surface mounted luminaire intended for ambience
illumination. The front mask of perforated steel sheet makes this luminaire an interesting element of the
interior, while indirect diffused light bathes with dynamics large wall surfaces. The standard colours are
black, grey and white, available also in colours upon RAL chart upon request. Applicable to offices and
residential spaces with high aesthetic demands.
On the recently finished Green Building Expo held in Belexpocenter in
Belgrade, BUCK presented the concept of ecological illumination. BUCK’s
stand attracted a lot of attention, and most interest was expressed for our
Architectural lighting catalogue and LED energy efficient products.
In Munich, Germany, the representatives of BUCK and design studio Kako.Ko were officially given the IF
product design award for luminaire E.
Hotel Stara planina, a member of Falkensteiner group was open for public in 2012. It is situated on
Stara planina mountain, at the altitude of 1.466m. This is a perfect place for a family vacation, due to
skiing tracks, surrounding intact nature, as well as diversity of leisure facilities. The hotel has many
amenities, such as: restaurant, lobby bar, pizza restaurant, indoor pool, playground for children, skating
yard, wellness and spa center. Considering the diversity of the activities offered, the illumination had a
lot of different technical requirements to fulfill, with the task to follow the forms of simple yet warm
interior.
Main communication spaces of the hotel are characterized by joyful alignment of linear luminaires,
whose composition is continued on the wall of the main atrium. In the entering hall and reception, the
illumination is built in the elements of the interior (wooden panels, desks, suspended ceilings) as lines of
indirect LED light. Dining and entertaining rooms have a warm relaxing character with a touch of
extravaganza.
The pool, wellness and gym are spaces with high technological demands, due to maintenance and
humidity issues. The pool is illuminated using LED spot lights in high IP degree, combined with LED
indirect light lines. The gym has minimalistic interior illuminated by long light lines of a uniform light
diffusion.
Rooms maintain a quiet and warm ambience, flexible in forming diverse functional zones.
Outdoor illumination is mainly functional, while the facade is decorated with discrete narrow lines of
warm white light.
