Different cultures lead to different lifestyles. If we want to know about the
differences between western and eastern culture. It's easy to find out by discussing
about our daily lives.
On the weekday, there's a school rule that students have arrive school before 7:30
am. We have a self-study time for 30 minutes and it's mostly for text. We have four
courses in the morning. Each course is 50 minutes and a break for 10 minutes. At noon,
some people buy their own lunches from the restaurant and the others bring their own
lunchboxes from home. Then, we take a nap from 12:30 pm to 12:55 pm. In the
afternoon, we also have 4 courses until 4:55 pm. After school, most of the students in
Taiwan go to cram school for reviewing the studies (It usually takes three hours). Let's
talk about subjects. As seniors, we have three different kinds of options and your choice
depends on what subjects you're interested in. Our academic subjects are Chinese,
English, Math, Physics, Chemistry, Geography and History. However, we only have two
PE classes every week.
In my opinion, students in Taiwan have a lot of homework, exams and pressures.
We don't have enough leisure time to do what we want to do. I think we should be more
creative and think our of the box and then we'll have a better life!

In eastern culture, most of the people think that study is the only way to be
success and have a good life in the future. So we always study hard and try to get higher
score and try to get into the best university. After school we usually have some classes
to improve our math, science, or English. That is the different between eastern culture
and western culture.

I think my daily life is very tired and boring . There are many reasons leading to
why I feel my daily life is so bored . First , I have to get up early because I can’t miss my
train (I take 30-minute train to school.) ,and than
Start my school life which has a lot of tests. After school, I have to do my homework and
prepare tomarrow’s tests . It’s very stressful because you compete with other people
every moment . So , I don’t have spare time to do what I really interested in. But , our
university life is full of fun so I really want to skip my high school . Although now I am
under a lot of stresses , I will still do my best on study.

I think the biggest differences between Chinese and American's daily life is our
spare time after school. Although we might share the same study time, the spare time on
our control is totally different. that's why our Chinese students don't have a long period
of time to exercise and enjoy the sunlight after school.

Let me introduce famous sights in Taiwan.
 Taipei 101
Towering above the city like the gigantic bamboo stalk it was
designed to resemble, Taipei 101 is impossible to miss.
 2-28 Memorial Museum
This is the most important museum for understanding the history
of Taiwan.
 Shilin Night Market
Considered by many to be the king of Taipei's night markets, the
sprawling Shilin Night Market is a nightly carnival of snacking and
shopping.
 National Palace Museum
It is important to understand that this is an art museum. It
showcases the finest and most priceless works of Chinese art.
 Shung Ye Museum Of Formosan Aborigines
The Shung Ye Museum Of Formosan Aborigines features highlights
of nine Taiwanese indigenous tribes. The tribes developed pottery,
basketry, wood carvings, musical instruments and colourful
costumes.
6. Lin Family Mansion & Garden
The house was built in 1853 but opened to the public only in 2001.
It's a prime example of a Qing-period mansion, with receiving halls,
library and performance stages
In conclusion,I think there are many beautiful sjghts except those that I
Introducd in Taiwan.I think if you come to Taiwan one day, you don’t

Taipei 101 might be the most well-known building of Taiwan. It had been
the tallest building in the world for years. I have been to Taipei 101 once
when I was little. It is taller than I thought, and the view from it is
incredible. So if you have a chance to get on it, you should try it!
Philip :
I foud it's wonderful for us to disguss the remarkable places in Taiwan. I
think this is the most interesting topic so far, because it's the best way for
us to learn and have fun at the same time. moreover, like Natoinal Palace
Museum, it's a good places for foreigners who are intrested in ancient
Chinese culture. After all, you will regret if you don't have a chance to visit
Taiwan.
Sunny :
Taipei is the capital of Taiwan and that is the most advanced city here.
There are a lot of attractions in Taipei City, such as, Taipei 101, National
Palace Museum and Shilin Night Market. We see Taipei 101 as an important
landmark. Therefore, a visit to Taipei will never be complete without visiting
the tall building, Taipei 101. As for the National Palace Museum, people can
see many precious ancient treasures. All in all, Taipei is a great city for
everyone to explore!
Tony:
There are many places worth playing in Taiwan. When the foreigners come
to Taiwan, they always admire the scenery. But, the invisible charm is better
than the visible scenery. Because the human touch is the most beautiful in
Taiwan. Our passion is more than general people. So it is good to inspect.
