COMPANY NAME Fugro Subsea Services Ltd Description of job role - a typical day in the life e.g. Trainee ROV Pilot Technician Actively seeking a practical person with an aptitude for either electronic, electrical, hydraulic or mechanical maintenance engineering Overview Description Test, maintain and operate ROV system under supervision. Assist colleagues when required with planned maintenance. Understands safety and environmental requirements during launch and recovery and deck operations. To understand use of Sonar, changes in range/scales, use of acoustic positioning systems used by ROV’s. Administration duties to include completion of dive records – video, audio, and written. Should be knowledgeable of fundamentals of ROV hydraulics systems, ROV electrics and electronics. Ability to assist with changing major hydraulic electronic and electrical components.
