NBBA / CBR CLASSIC GUIDELINES

The 2008 NBBA / CBR Classic will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2008 @
8:00 PM at the Longview Fair Grounds, Longview, Texas in conjunction with the CBR’s
Bull Bash Tour 2008. The NBBA / CBR Classic will be for 2004 model bulls born
between January 1, 2004 through December 31, 2004 who were validated through the
NBBA in 2006; and 2005 model bulls born between January 1, 2005 through December
31, 2005 who were validated through the NBBA in 2007.
The 2008 NBBA / CBR Classic Guidelines are as follows:
1 The NBBA / CBR Classics will be limited to 40 entries on a first come first serve
basis. To reserve a slot you must contact the office by phone at 903-848-4039 to
request an entry form. Owners may enter a maximum of two bulls UNLESS the
event is not full, then owners may enter additional bulls on a first come first serve
basis. Payments must be made in the amount of $1250.00 and must be
postmarked no later than September 12, 2008.
2 There will be NO REFUNDS given on Entry Fees! In the event a bull is ineligible
to compete for any reason, the owner must replace the bull by the date specified
with another eligible bull. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
3 OWNERS WILL NOT BE REQUIRED TO BRING THEIR OWN BULL RIDERS
FOR THIS EVENT. THIS EVENT IS HELD IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE CBR.
4 All owners must be current NBBA members in good standing for 2008. If bull is
owned and entered in a partnership, the partnership must have a current NBBA
membership or all members of the partnership must have individual
memberships.
5 All entries must be ABBI registered.
6 ALL FOUR YEAR OLD BULLS MUST HAVE BEEN VALIDATED THROUGH
THE 2006 NBBA VALIDATIONS TO BE ELIGIBLE TO COMPETE IN THE
FOUR YEAR OLD CLASSICS; ALL THREE YEAR OLD BULLS ACCEPTED
MUST HAVE BEEN VALIDATED THROUGH THE 2007 NBBA VALIDATIONS.
7 A photo static copy of the registration papers for the bull to be entered must be
received on or before September 12, 2008. (If papers are not available, please
send registration # on Entry Form and forward papers when available.)

8 There will be NO REFUNDS given on Entry Fees, in the event a bull is ineligible

9 Alternate bulls will be accepted until Friday, September 12, 2008.
10 All NBBA CLASSIC bulls must have 30 days current Brucellosis and 90 days current TB
Test and 30 days current Health Papers. NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS!! REGARDLESS OF
CURRENT STATE’S HEALTH REQUIREMENTS THIS IS MANDATORY FOR ALL BULLS!! IF
THE BULLS DO NOT HAVE THE PROPER HEALTH REQUIREMENTS THEY WILL NOT
UNLOAD AND WILL FORFEIT ALL ENTRY FEES!!
11 Judging will consist of 6 Judges that will mark the bulls on their performance.
The High and Low marks will be eliminated.
12 All owners must flank their own bulls.
13 All bulls must be housed in pens provided by event management and must be
checked in by 12:00 PM Saturday, September 20, 2008. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
There will be a $100 fine per bull for anyone who is not checked in at this
time!!
14 There will be NO Buddy Bulls accepted.
15 All Classic bulls entered must have their horns tipped to the size of a half
dollar. Any bull arriving without their horns tipped to the size of a half
dollar, owner could be subject to a fine up to $250.00 and the bull will face
disqualification and forfeit all entry fees. NO BULLS WILL BE TIPPED
UPON ARRIVAL AT THE EVENT.
16 All bulls entered must have a fire brand with identification number. Any owner
who’s bull arrives without permanent identification is subject to a fine determined
by event management or may be denied entry and will forfeit all entry fees. If
identification number is not fire branded on the bull, the NBBA has the authority
to pull DNA on the bull.
17 This event is an NBBA sanctioned event and will be governed by the NBBA
Rules.
18 Owners are required to become familiar with all 2008 NBBA Standing Rules and
Guidelines. Please make special note to the Four year old Event Guidelines of
the NBBA Standing Rules and Guidelines. Entry Fees are in the amount of

Bull Association (NBBA), Championship Bull Riding, Inc. (CBR), Longview Fair Grounds, any
attending veterinarian or affiliate from any and all loss, claims, damages or suits arising from or
related to any accident, death or injury, including resulting from NEGLIGENCE OR GROSS
NEGLIGENCE to any person or livestock associated with this entry or involved with this entry,

**EVENT INFORMATION**
The 2nd Annual NBBA / CBR Classic, Bull Bash Tour 2008 Longview, Texas will
be held on Saturday, September 20, 2008 at the Longview Fair Grounds, Longview,
Texas in conjunction with the CBR’s Bull Bash Tour 2008.
Owners will not be required to bring their own riders, the NBBA / CBR
Classic will be held in conjunction with the CBR’s Bull Bash Tour 2008.
All Bulls will need to check in on Saturday, September 20, 2008 between
9:00 AM until 12:00 PM. NO EXCEPTIONS!! NO BULLS WILL
UNLOAD AFTER 12:00 PM WITHOUT A $100 FINE PER BULL!
The NBBA / CBR Classic is for Four Year Old bulls (2004 model) who
were validated through the NBBA’s 2006 Validations; and Three Year Old
bulls (2005 model) who were validated through the NBBA’s 2007
Validations.
Owners may enter a maximum of two bulls unless the class does not fill,
then additional bulls may be entered on a first come first serve basis.
Each Bull entered will receive two credentials (one ticket and one behind
the chute pass for flanking your bull) for the CBR’s Bull Bash Tour 2008.
