SEWING PROJECT: Completed Class Sewing Project displaying all required Machine & Hand Stitches
Project Fabric must be prewashed before sewing and labeled and pressed for grading
The student must provide ALL material, notions, and hand equipment
ALL Sewing (Hand & Machine) must be done in Class.

Objectives: To learn basic hand and machine sewing techniques. To develop a production Costume Plot
from the Character Analysis, Character/Scene Breakdown, and Research required for period play analysis
of the Costumes from the required text.
Required Supplies:
Fabric for Project: Check with Instructor on type of fabric, interfacing or lining, and amount of yardage
needed
Fabric Notions: Check with Instructor on type of thread, buttons, hooks & eyes fasteners
Sewing Supplies: Please be sure your name is on all your supply items
