Creative Handbuilding with Clay

This is a great introductory class for clay. Students will incorporate three techniques in their work: coil, slab, and pinch methods. The

This is a beginning drawing class for those interested in developing their drawing skills. Graphite, charcoal, and colored pencils will
be used to learn basic techniques. Drawing is the foundation of all art making. Line, value and texture will be emphasized. The class
will also make their own sketchbook.

Puppets of Imagination

A real favorite of kids, making a puppet they can use for many hours of imaginary fun. Teacher will provide the students with
examples of puppets she has made and other examples from other cultures. At the end of the week, your child will be bringing
home a unique puppet to put on plays for the family.

Fun with Sculpey Clay

Sculpey clay is a soft polymer clay that comes in many different colors and turns had when baked in an oven. Students will learn
how to work with the clay,and then it will be up to them to transform it into whatever they want—people, animals, strange creatures,
beads, candle holders, funky silverware, chess pieces, dice,,,and more!

Creating Cartoons, Comics, and Clay Characters

Experience learning simple ways to create your own cartoon characters. Learn how to draw expressions, bodies, and develop your
