Hurricane Parents: Welcome to the 2013 Hillsborough Hurricanes. In order to effectively run our swim team
program we need all parents’ support and participation. Once Coach Elizabeth determines the rosters for
the RED and WHITE Teams, please take a few minutes to complete and return this form. We would like to
give you the opportunity to select the area to work which interests you most. Most importantly, please note
the dates in which you are unavailable to work.
The dual meets and other activities are run by the swim team parents. We need coordinators for the dual
meets, ice pops and team picnic in order to provide these activities for our swimmers. If you volunteer as
one of the coordinators you will NOT be given dual meet assignments. No prior experience is necessary.
You will be given plenty of direction from those who have done these jobs in the past.
Consider being an official! All officials who are NOT YMCA or USA certified must attend an officials’ clinic.

Availability: Cross out dates you are NOT available to work. Each family will be assigned to work 5 dual
meets (unless you are a coordinator). Once assignments are made, you will need to find your own replacement, if you cannot attend. Anyone who does not show up for an assignment will have $20 deducted from
escrow account. Please note 2 different team schedules: RED or WHITE. Coach Elizabeth will decide the
teams.
