Please provide the following:
1. Please provide yearly recorded adjusted 2008-2013 and forecast 2014-2016 capital
expenditures for items A-G as listed on page 1 of SCG-18-CWP, delineated by labor,
non-labor and NSE.
2. Please provide recorded adjusted 2014 capital expenditures (when available) for items
A-G as listed on page 1 of SCG-18-CWP, delineated by labor, non-labor and NSE (if
the granularity requested above is not available please provide greatest granularity
available).

3. Please provide yearly recorded adjusted 2008-2013 and forecast 2014-2016 O&M
expenses for Non-Shared Services items A-D as listed on page 2 of SCG-18-WP, and
Shared Services items A-D as listed on page 26 of SCG-18-WP delineated by labor,
non-labor and NSE.
4. Regarding SCG’s response to ORA-SCG-041-PM1 Attachement_Q.6
Supplemental_V2, please provide the following information in the same format:
a. Yearly difference 2014-2017 between Concept Document forecast and TY 2016
GRC forecast.
b. Total difference 2014-2017 between Concept Document forecast and TY 2016
GRC forecast.
c. Identify if any projects in the Concept Documents provided were combined
between the Concept Document and the GRC forecast. If so make note of each
such instance and the projects combined.
d. Identify if any projects in the Concept Documents provided were split into more
than one project between the Concept Document and the GRC forecast. If so
make note of each such instance and the project(s) split.
5. For all departments and/or divisions in Ex. SCG-18 where SCG has requested
increased staffing, please provide copies of all studies and/or workload analyses used
to develop each of SCG’s increased staffing forecasts. If no such studies or analyses
were conducted, please so state, and explain why SCG believed it was not necessary
to conduct such studies or analyses to support their forecasts for increased staffing.
6. Regarding SCG’s response to ORA-SCG-DR-048-PM1_Q4, Attachment, please
provide the following information:
a. Recorded adjusted “Net O&M,” “Total Labor,” “O&M Labor Ratio,” and
“Weighted Ave of Labor Allocation” yearly 2009-2013 for Excel lines 7-14 (from
SCG’s response to ORA-SCG-DR-048-PM1_Q4 Attachment) (in Excel format).
b. Explain and show calculations (in Excel format) of how SCG determined “Net
O&M” and “Total Labor.”
c. Explain how the difference between “Net O&M” and “Total Labor” was
determined, including calculations (in Excel format).
d. Identify which cost center, work group, budget code or other account Excel lines
7-14 (from SCG’s response to ORA-SCG-DR-048-PM1_Q4 Attachment)
correspond to O&M and capital workpapers. If certain values do not correspond
to O&M and/or capital workpapers please provide the source of information.
e. Provide yearly recorded adjusted 2009-2013 “Net O&M” and “Total Labor” for
total O&M expenses, total capital expenditures and any other costs SCG
utilized to determine “Net O&M” and “Total Labor” included in Ex. SCG-18.

7. Please provide yearly recorded adjusted 2009-2013 and forecast adjustments 20142016 for O&M expenses delineated by labor, non-labor and other in the same format as
provided in SCG’s response to ORA-SCG-DR-048-PM1 Q. 11 Attachment. Please
provide an updated Excel spreadsheet to include the information above for each
“Workgroup/Cost Center” (along with the information already provided).
8. Regarding SCG’s forecast increase for “Telecom Maintenance work (SCG-19-WP p.
13)” please provide the following:
a. Number of “microwave radio replacement(s)” by year 2009-2013.
b. Number of “microwave tower maintenance” by year 2009-2013.
c. Yearly recorded adjusted O&M expenses 2009 for “microwave tower
maintenance.”
d. Yearly recorded adjusted O&M expenses 2009 for “microwave radio
replacements.”
Note: Please provide separate word documents for SCG’s response to each question. If
the any of the information requested above is unavailable, please contact ORA to
determine an alternative.

INSTRUCTIONS
You are instructed to answer the following Data Requests in the above-captioned
proceeding, with written, verified responses per Public Utilities Code §§ 309.5 and 314,
and Rules 1.1 and 10.1 of the California Public Utilities Commission’s Rules of Practice
and Procedure. Restate the text of each request prior to providing the response. If you
have any questions regarding this data request, please contact the Originator at the email
address or phone number above.
Each Data Request is continuing in nature. Provide your response as it becomes available,
but no later than the due date noted above. If you are unable to provide a response by this
date, notify the Originator and ORA Project Coordinator(s) as soon as possible, with a
written explanation as to why the response date cannot be met and a best estimate of
when the information can be provided. If you acquire additional information after providing
an answer to any request, you must supplement your response following the receipt of
such additional information.

Identify the person providing the answer to each data request and his/her contact
information. All data responses need to have each page numbered, referenced, and
indexed so worksheets can be followed. If any numbers are calculated, include a copy of
all supporting electronic files, with data and formulas intact and functioning, so that the
formula and their sources can be reviewed. Responses should be provided both in the
original electronic format, if available, and in hard copy. (If available in Word or Excel
format, send the Word document or Excel file and do not send the information only as a
PDF file.) All electronic documents submitted in response to this data request should be in
readable, downloadable, printable, and searchable formats, unless use of such formats is
infeasible.
Documents produced in response to the data requests should be numbered, and indexed
if voluminous. Responses to data requests that refer to or incorporate documents should
identify the particular documents referenced by page numbers.
If a request, definition, or an instruction, is unclear, notify ORA as soon as possible. In any
event, answer the request to the fullest extent possible, specifying the reason for your
inability to answer the remaining portion of the Data Request.
Provide two copies of the above information as it becomes available but no later than the
due date identified above. Provide electronic responses if possible, and set of hard copy
responses with your submittal to the data request Originator and the ORA Project
Coordinator(s).
