Christmas Carol Concert
Dear Parents and Carers
We are delighted to tell you that our Year 2 pupils will be leading the whole-school Carol Concert
to be held on Wednesday, 16th December at 2.00 p.m. and again at 6.30 p.m. at All Saints’
Church, Hampton.
The children will tell the Christmas story through readings, drama and song. We are therefore
extending this very special invitation to all Year 2 parents and carers so that you will have the
pleasure of seeing your children feature in our Christmas celebration.
Each family may apply for two tickets for the Carol Concert. This can be two tickets for the
same performance or you may prefer to apply for one ticket for each performance.
All Year 2 children may take part in the afternoon performance as this falls within school-time but
we would like to ask you to complete the tear-off slip below to confirm your child’s attendance
in the evening.
Please note that we are only able to select children for individual speaking, acting and
singing parts if we receive your commitment that you will bring your child back to the
church in the evening (from 6.00 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.) - whether or not you have tickets for this
particular performance.
Our Year 2 and Junior Choir families are receiving this ticket application letter five days before the
rest of the school.
After Friday, tickets will be available to other year groups and no further priority can be given for
Year 2 or Junior Choir tickets, so please send in your reply by Friday, 11th December.
The tear-off slip below can be used to confirm your child’s attendance and also to tell us about your
ticket requirements.
We hope for your understanding in following these organisational arrangements that have become
necessary now that we are a growing school.
We are looking forward very much to seeing you supporting your children and sharing in this
exciting and heart-warming event.
