Language Arts: This week we are working on the letter “Pp” and on the life cycle.
The sight words are “en haut” (up) and “en bas” (down)
Math: we are working on identifying and Describing Shapes .
Monday
LA: Color only letter p and write it.
Read the pictures and circle those with /p/.
Math: Point at each shape and say its name in French. Color the shapes with the right color, then count
and write the number.
Reading: Complete your syllables chart with letter Pp, then point and read all the syllables. Count the
numbers 0-100 in French and then read your Raising A Reader book.
Tuesday
LA: Circle the words that you can read.
Math: How many letters are in each word? Circle to tell how many letters.
How many syllables are in the words? Clap them and cercle the correct number.
Reading: Point and read the syllables on your syllable chart, count the numbers 0-100 in French and
then read your Raising A Reader book.
Wednesday
LA: Complete the words with p, then read them.
Math: Circle the number that is more. Circle the number that is less.
Color only the shapes found on the pizza.
Reading: Point and read the syllables on your syllable chart, count the numbers 0-100 in French and
then read your Raising A Reader book.
Thursday
LA: Read the sentences, count the words in each sentence and circle the correct number. Match each
picture with the right sentence.
Math: How many pies? Circle the correct number. Color only the shapes found on the pizza.
Reading: Point and read the syllables on your syllable chart, count the numbers 0-100 in French and
then read your independent reading book

Dear Parents/Guardians,
I have attached to this homework packet the syllables chart. Please take the chart off the packet and
keep it home. Every week, you will help your child fill out the chart with the letter of the week and read
all the syllables. I filled the chart with letters Ll and Mm. Please have your child fill out syllables with
letter p and read all the syllables. It is a part of the homework. Please feel free to email me or call me if
you have any question.
