Electronic/Software Engineer with 14 years of extensive experience in the manufacturing industry,

Experience
August 2011 – Actual Software Development Manager @ Intel Corporation.
Software Development Manager working in the DataCenter division responsible for BIOS ingredient enabling
E3 products, in my current role I’m managing a team of software professionals who are responsible for
delivering results over many areas of the software lifecycle: design, developing, debugging, validating, and
optimization, customer engagement and product support. Primary focus area is UEFI FW including delivering
FW to internal validation and enabling teams as well as providing reference source code to the industry.
As Leader of this group I’m accountable for achieving our team’s vision, accountable for creating a great
place and challenging work environment but at the same time ensuring everybody under me has the
opportunity to grow. Provides direction and goals to the group and interacts with stakeholders both internal
and external.
2005 – 2011 Sr. Test Engineering & Failure Analysis Manager @ Flextronics.
People Manager responsible for creating a challenging but also great place to work for teammembers under
me, also responsible for defining test strategy for customers, Also Test Equipment Roadmap definition,
accountable for keeping process/business indicators in a positive trent, KPI’s such as OEE, Yields, Asset
utilization, Downtime, Lean activities, etc. I also was supporting commercial team with Investment analysis
new products’ quotes to be manufactured.
Also responsible for Failure Analysis team dedicated to perform analysis not only for realtime manufacturing
line support but also key members for scrap reduction initiatives, Troubleshoting guides/documentation &
owner for troubleshooting training for new technicians and Engineers joining the organization.
Achievements: –
1. I was able to reduce capital investment on new programs implementing manufacturing cells, instruments
utilization was increased and idle instruments were allocated on new programs. Savings for about $ 1000
K USD.
2. SMT performance increased by implementing stopping for anormalities system on all SMT lines, from
93% to 97%.
3. Decider on what On-line system was required on SMT lines based on product/technology being
manufactured so Introduction of automatically optical inspection (AOI) system were recommended and
implemented for 18 production lines, all lines ran with less than 200 DPMOs per hour.
4. Savings for about $ 200K USD per year by reducing Labor on software customization process by
appliying reeingeniering methodology.
2002 – 2005
Test Engineer Lead @ Flextronics.
Mainly focused on transferring CISCO projects from Flextronics SJ to Flextronics GDL.
While I was leading the transfer I was responsible & accountable for the following things:
