The Tiffany Leather Collection Blossoms with the
Colors of Spring Fashion
NEW YORK, NY (January 1, 2011) -- Tiffany & Co. captures the best and brightest of spring in
a collection of leather handbags and accessories that is a masterpiece of color and silhouette.
Created by design directors Richard Lambertson and John Truex, the elegant collection is further
distinguished by rich, natural textures.
“ The collection captures the newness of spring, which is so much about color,” said Richard
Lambertson. “ We’ve focused on a spectrum that goes from white to classic neutrals to brights in
textures and shapes that are modern yet timeless.”
Hand-woven natural wicker beautifully forms the Cleo bucket bag, Dahlia satchel and Blaine
clutch. Natural caning provides a clean structure for the Avery top handle bag and Eliza tote,
lending a light, open look to warm-weather fashion. The going gets softer with the Dylan tote’s
flexible sisal weave accented with buckles that anchor the handles. All are trimmed in white,
coral, cognac or onyx leather. In addition, the tote for all seasons—the TRT: Tiffany Reversible
Tote—shines for spring in new color combinations of suede and metallic leather, including
coral/shimmer gold, chartreuse/gold and navy/navy.
A spring day in the city calls for the Lena, a hidden frame top handle bag, or the Maddie
Lunchbox. These are the “ tailored suits” of the collection, perfectly proportioned and gleaming
in glazed crocodile of fresh, exuberant colors including sea rose, chartreuse and Tiffany Blue®,
as well as camel, onyx and espresso. Other options for urban life or for smart style in any setting
include the Pierpont duffle and the Fiona gusset shoulder bag in soft glazed crocodile, as well as
the Bridget pleated satchel in natural snakeskin or grain leather.
Lambertson and Truex spare no color for their elegant and indispensible clutches, the Holly,
Morgan and Lyn. Whether in satin or exotic skins, each is saturated in a hue reminiscent of
berries and blossoms, as well as sun-touched gold, moonlit silver and a mélange of brilliant
beading. The vibrancy extends to the Ellie bow bag of Vachetta leather with a coral satin bow
and the pleated Bella in red satin. Wallets, too, reflect this vivid color play. The compact,
continental and French wallets match the handbags both in texture and hue, and they all represent
the finest in craftsmanship.
