The criteria for associate professor habilitation and professor
appointment approved by Faculty of Management Science and
Informatics at the University of Žilina
By the proposal for procedure of appointment as associate professor or professor, the applicant is
considered as complex scientific-pedagogic individual. The evaluation is performed considering the
character of the main faculty activities, it is reflection of the results and, at the same time, ensures the
quality. The applicants for habilitation / inauguration are comprehensive evaluated by specialized
commissions and Scientific Board of the faculty or university in accordance with valid higher
education act and valid regulation of Ministry of Education SR governing the procedure for obtaining
titles of associate professor and professor.
The following criteria are taken into particular consideration:

thesis and so on) are excluded.
 *3)It is recommended to put accent on publishing in foreign scientific journals.
 By university handbook is consider the systematically explanationally adjusted
summary of informations from some scientific or study discipline. Co-author of
university handbook for this purpose mean co-author of compact chapter within the
min. range of 3 AH.
 Monograph for this purpose means original monothematic scientific piece within the
min. range of 3 AH
